This year we are offering 5 Summer internships to be based in our London office as well as our regional offices, including Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, York, and Glasgow, depending on the internship you select. Please refer to the attached candidate pack for the specific location details of each internship. At ORR we have adopted hybrid working and are currently expected to work from a workplace location for a minimum of two days per week or 40%.
The 5 Summer Internships are in the following Directorates:
• 1 placement in Corporate Operations
• 2 placements in Strategy, Policy and Reform
• 2 placements in Economics, Finance and Markets
The summer internship placements will start on Monday 29th June and will end on Friday 21st August 2026. You must be available to work during this period to complete the internship.
What can you expect from an ORR Summer Internship Programme?
• You’ll have a line manager for the duration of the programme who will set you clear objectives at the start. You will complete a mid programme and end of programme review with your manager.
• You will be brought together as a cohort for onboarding and offboarding events, allowing you to network amongst peers, supported by senior leaders.
• There will be learning and development opportunities for you to partake in as a cohort.
• We will run a session with you on recruitment in the Civil Services to showcase the opportunities on offer to you post study.
