This role can be based at any of our office locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, York, Glasgow. At ORR we have adopted hybrid working and are currently expected to work from a workplace location for a minimum of two days per week or 40%.
The analyst position in the ORR’s Highways Monitor team is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a small, agile, expert team that delivers at pace across a range of policy, economics, safety, performance and capital delivery areas.

We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience to support our work monitoring, challenging and reporting on National Highways’ performance. Your decisions could influence a company responsible for £24 billion of investment and affecting millions of daily journeys.
You will develop knowledge of performance areas and work closely with other members of the team when supporting larger cross-team pieces of work. You will gain experience pushing National Highways on delivering its targets and play a key role in producing and publishing our annual assessment of National Highways’ performance in Parliament. You will also help shape how we publish data in the future by managing and developing online performance dashboards.
